Class OnAir - Carruthers

Kia Ora and welcome to my Manaiakalani Class Onair page for 2023. My name is Clarelle Carruthers and I am a year 4 teacher at Pt England School, in Auckland New Zealand. This year we will be working collaboratively with the class next door and their wonderful teacher Angela Moala.

Room 15 and I are excited to share our learning Journey with you as we continue to learn, create and share in our 1-1 Chromebook classroom.

The lessons you will see below show, whole class and small group lessons. Each lesson is planned based on the needs of the class or a group of students.

This term our focus is on understanding what it means to be an important part of our school and local community.

Term 2: "Changes Matter"

This term our focus is on science and the changing states of Matter. We will be exploring the three states of Matter and what causes them to change.

Term 3: "Fit for Purpose"

This term our focus is on Physical and Mental Health Education. We are learning about what makes us special and how to share and manage when we have big feelings. These lessons have a "Share" Focus.
