Kia ora, my name is Rebecca Henderson, and welcome to my Class OnAir episodes for 2024. I teach at Te Maire St Francis of Assisi School in Christchurch, where I've been teaching for the past six years.

This year, I'm working with Year 7/8 students in our Kaupeka Team. In Kaupeka we have five teachers and 121 students. Our learning space is split across two collaborative spaces.

In our digital 1-1 Chromebook environment, our students access their learning through our class Google site. The Learn, Create, Share pedagogy is integrated through our teaching, planning and learning tasks, which are all visible on our site.

In the upcoming episodes, I look forward to showcasing how I incorporate the Manaiakalani Digital Fluency Intensive (DFI) program into my teaching practices.

If you have any questions, feel free to reach out.

Year Focus: IMPACT

This year my Class OnAir episodes will look to feature lessons that feature elements of the Digital Fluency Intensive (DFI) programme.
