CoA Introduction - Tanya M 27 Feb.mp4

Kia ora, Kia Orana, Talofa, Malo e lelei, Bula Vinaka, Welcome to my Manaiakalani Class OnAir episodes for 2022. This is my second year teaching at Wesley Intermediate in Auckland, New Zealand. I have been teaching in a digital environment for the last 4 years, with many more years of teaching under my belt.

This year I have the Marvellous Room 4 and we are part of a collaborative team of 3 teachers and 60 students, in the Karearea Team.

My lessons will include a range of teaching strategies, whole class, small group and peer teaching and discussions. These discussions will help students to build thinking and reasoning in order to help them develop deeper understanding. There will be a focus on T-shaped Literacy and Igniting Curiosity in Mathematics using inspiring challenges. Small group work workshops will focus on particular skills students need to develop. Please feel free to contact me using the information below.

Term 1: "Who we are and How we deal with Challenges"
