My name’s Rob Wiseman and I have the privilege of teaching a fantastic bunch of Year 7 & 8 children at Pt England School in Auckland. I first started teaching at Pt England in 2015. I left for a few years in 2019 but returned in 2022 as I just couldn’t stay away. 

I am fortunate to work with four other teachers and three child support workers. Together, we plan and work collaboratively to ensure the best learning outcomes and opportunities for our tamariki.

Our children access their learning via a shared Google site using their individual Chromebooks.  This enables them to access their learning form anywhere and anytime. It’s amazing!

In my lessons I will be focusing on reading. In particular, highlighting pedagogy from the Manaiakalani, 'Reading Practice Intensive', a reading PD course I completed last year.
