Kia ora, my name is Elena Terekhina, and welcome to my 2024 Class OnAir episodes!  I'm a Year 3-4 teacher at Glen Taylor School in Auckland, New Zealand. This is my fourth year teaching in a 1-1 Chromebook classroom. My students access their learning through our team site as a central hub for our visible, differentiated and rewindable programme.

I'm excited to guide my Clever Kea team on their mathematical journey and share my practice on this website. You will witness the enthusiasm my students have for learning mathematics, supported by engaging lessons, useful learning materials and effective teaching strategies. Through whole-class conversations, small-group and peer-to-peer interactions, I foster a positive learning environment catering to different learning needs and styles and promoting a deeper understanding of mathematical concepts.
