Kia ora and welcome to my 2022 Manaiakalani Class OnAir episodes! I am in my ninth year of teaching working at St Francis of Assisi Catholic School in Christchurch, New Zealand. This is my third year of working in a digital 1:1 learning environment.

This year, I am part of an amazing team of year 5/6 ākonga. We are part of a Year 5/6 Hub (Tumu) consisting of four learning spaces. The students will be using Chromebooks to access their learning throughout the year as we learn, create and share in our 1-1 Chromebook Classroom.

My lessons will include whole-class, peer to peer and small group learning. The small group interactions are often designed to cater to the needs of individual learners. I’m looking forward to sharing Tumu Hub with you this year.
