Mālō e lelei, kia orāna and nau mai, haere mai to my 2023 Manaiakalani Class OnAir episodes! I am a fourth year teacher working by the sea at New Brighton Catholic School - Mary Immaculate in Christchurch, New Zealand. I have always taught in a digital 1:1 learning environment.
This year, I have a terrific team of year 2 ākonga. The students will be using ipads throughout the year as we learn, create and share together.
My lessons will include whole-class, peer to peer and small group learning. The small group interactions are often designed to cater to the needs of individual learners.
