Making a Science Rap.mp4A Special Episode
This episode is in direct response to the needs of some of our Outreach teachers wanting to enter the Manaiakalani Film Festival, and in particular to make Science or Maths raps!
Here is a 9-minute "behind the scenes" filming of our 2018 Film Festival rap titled Acid, Do You Love Me?
I have tried to include a few technical tips and tricks, but am assuming that people have access to and have tried using iMovie before.

WALT: Recording and Filming our 2018 Film Festival Movie
Learning
This year's Film Festival Science Rap is about the Year 11 Science exam titled Acids and Bases.
Creating
Students didn't write the lyrics (although they absolutely could), but did record the song and were involved in the creation (and some, as you will hear, in the direction) of the video. It would be handy if they could also do the editing, but I did that this year too.
Sharing
I can't share the final version until after it's screened at the Manaiakalani Film Festival in about Week 5 of Term 4. Then it will be shared as an episode here and on my blog http://misswellsscience.blogspot.com/
