Direct Instruction
I took the students through an example of talking about a design development of a mobile phone. I talked about what I had done, why I had done it and the effect the changes had.
Reflection
I think I kept my introduction to this quite short for a change, explained how it links through to what they have to do at uni if they do a design course and did an example of what I wanted them to do.
If I were to do this again, I would give out a sheet of talking points that need to be included in the presentation.
These could then help them to come up with questions if those points were not raised.
