Reflection
This definitely sparked engagement and excitement. The children were so eager to start writing. Students were even writing letters with the correct structure in their own time at home which reflects their enjoyment and motivation! I would highly reccomend this , particularly if you have any reluctant junior writers.
When considering Manaiakalani's pedagogy of learn, create, share- who better to share your work with than with an alien!?
