Reflection

Setting up the Explain Everything took longer than anticipated. Next time I need to check that everyone is logged into their emails and drives prior to the lesson commencing.

Allowing tamariki to choose if they were confident typers or if they wanted to record their voice worked very well. There were a couple of tamariki who chose to type but were not very confident. I did have them record their voice and then allowed them time to type what they recorded. This helped them to be engaged in all parts of the lesson as well as grow in their typing ability.

Things to note

We listened to our recordings and wrote our quality blog comments into our writing books in our following writing session. Paying close attention to our grammar and punctuation. Then tamariki posted their quality blog comment.
