Direct Instruction

Reflection

Recapping previous lesson was extended as many tamariki were away when we introduced the concept.

Tamariki were struggling with identifying left and right until we used kupu Māori. They then were able to instantly recognise left and right.

Tamariki absolutely loved making their own maps and engaged really well with each other when they were needing some awhi.

Create task needed to be cut back to two pages.
