In this lesson you will see children reflecting on the different parts of the songs of the day. They them talk about our class and the things that make our class special as they plan for creating their own songs.

Making songs part 1.mp4Reflection: Music has been a huge part of our class all year but especially this term. We have had a song of the day everyday that we discuss and notice different language feature in. So when I told the children we were going to make their own songs they were very excited. The collaborative nature of this writing task allowed all learners to share their ideas as they all had someone in their group who was comfortable typing.
Things to note: I am wearing a mask in this lesson. Children were very excited so some of the footage has a lot of movement in it as they discuss and write.
