The learning intentions for this lesson were we are learning to login and post on our new blogs. We are sharing our thoughtful about me.

The video shows the children using Edublogs for the first time. Children downloaded and image from the class site and share the about me they had written on their blogs. The learning intentions for this lesson were:

Extended Lesson Plan

Reflection: Shifting from something you know to something new is always a challenge. I felt like I was not as prepared for this lesson as I could have been and that made me feel a bit on the back foot. The children love blogging and so having the ability to continue doing this was exciting for them. But I felt like I did a lot of talking and perhaps could have found more ways to include their voice as we began this journey. As you will see in the video the children were quick to spot the similarities between Edublogs and Blogger. Reflecting back I think have one of the children sharing to the TV throughout would have been more useful than my slides.

Things to note: When this episode was filmed we had a number of children isolating so my class is very small.
