Direct Instruction:
Throughout Term 1, my students studied photography and spent some time learning how to edit the pictures they took.
During the past week, the students have been learning about Anzac Day. We have also been exploring different ways we can use Google Drawing to share our learning in a fun and creative way. As a result, I decided to take a digital creation and combine it with an edited photograph to create our own Anzac Day digital art.
Reflection:
This lesson was so much fun. The kids were able to learn new ways to use the tools on Google Drawing along with some of the things they have already been doing to create their own artwork. They were amazed to see that they could use Google Drawing to edit photographs on their Chromebooks after using our classroom iMacs last term.
