Direct Instruction
In this episode we are learning about statistical investigation and how to organised and show data. The lesson focuses on tally charts however we did also look at pictograms and bar graphs during this unit of learning. In the lesson you will see whole class modelling, small group exploration and children engaging in their own mini investigation in pairs.
Reflection
This lesson was my favourite of the term because I felt it showed the excitement and eagerness of my learners that I see every day. I also felt like the children really connected with the topic and were excited to work together and explore their small data sets.
Thing to note:
Please note that the moon boot is not a regular feature. I had inquired my foot. This limited some of my movement hence why I shared our whole class modelling and introduction as the main focus for this lesson.
