In this episode we are reading the story telling the truth. We are focussing on noticing and fixing errors while reading and being able to retell the story in our own words. This lesson focuses on the directed teaching with the group.
Reflection
This lesson had some interesting moments. I was surprised at how little knowledge the learners at about explanation marks. This provided a great opportunity to explore this form of punctuation and how it impacts the our expression as we read. It linked nicely to our writing focus for the week which was part of speech including interjections.
