Direct instruction
This week we have been learning about Vincent Van Gogh. We started with an art history lesson about his life, influences and style. We then practiced using his style of art by creating petals, before moving on to painting our own version of Starry Night.
Things to note
This lesson took place at the end of term 4. The original plan was for the students to create their own artwork following Starry Night, using the same style, but we ran out of time.
