Easter Learning Journey.movDirect Instruction:
As Covid-19 spread across the world, it was quickly becoming a reality that we would be put into isolation and begin learning from home. When this occurred our team of year 7/8 teachers decided it would be greatly beneficial to provide our students with a learning opportunity over the term holidays, which were moved up two weeks. This was created by teachers on our team based on the Manaiakalani Summer Learning Journey.
Reflection
Many of our students enjoyed taking part in our Easter Learning Journey and it was great to see that we had students of various learning levels across our team trying their best. It was great to still have regular contact with our students over the holiday period by leaving blog comments.
